After I got divorced, I realized that I was going to be on my own to support my family. My kids were relying on me to make ends meet, but I knew that I couldn't do it with the job that I had at the time. I decided that instead of working to scrape together money for the rest of my life, I needed to go back to school. I enrolled in a local community college, and I was able to choose a career path that would work for my schedule and improve my chances of finding a job in the future. After graduation, I was able to get a six-figure job doing what I loved. This blog is all about the importance of continuing to learn and grow--no matter how old you are.
